I have just found out that Collins and Merriam-Webster diverge. One defines those words as almost always expressions of selfish and malicious behavior, whereas the other refuses to make that connection. I think I've got the solution to the problem: steal the word. Just like me now, thinking about taking from the not real rockers their emoji 🤘. Isn't it fair? They drew first blood. Haha!
